welcomeDear Michigan Football Player Families, Welcome. We are so excited to begin the 138th year of Michigan football and our FOURTH YEAR of the Michigan Football Player Family Association (MFPFA)! It’s our hope that the MFPFA serves as an extended family focused on supporting our sons, on and off the field, and helps build community among the player families. The idea of this organization was initiated at the end of the 2013 season, and participation has increased every year. When our sons were in high school, the parents spent many hours volunteering at the games, so it was easy to know players and families. Since Michigan is an elite Division 1 program, players come from all over the U.S. (and beyond), so it’s a challenge to meet other parents coming to Ann Arbor from so many locations. Last year, Coach Harbaugh created the opportunity for player families to gather outside Glick Field House before and after the Home Games. This has provided a central location for families to socialize, and an opportunity for parents to greet their sons boarding the buses for the stadium, something everyone really appreciates. We sincerely hope that this association will enhance your Michigan Football experience through the many ways we have to connect, including:
